My name is Candace, and I am the heart and hands behind Hazey Moon Essentials. Founded in 2019 and based in Red Deer, Alberta, Hazey Moon was created from a lifelong love of creativity, gemstones, and the quiet magic of the night sky. I live here with my husband, our two children, and our spirited husky mix, Primmy.

Since I was a little girl, I have been drawn to rocks and the cosmos. I was the child who filled her pockets with beautiful stones and spent late evenings wrapped in a blanket, gazing at the stars through a backyard telescope. That sense of wonder has never left me.

 

Creativity has always been my language. Whether it was art class projects, experimenting with a childhood bath oil alchemy kit, or now designing gemstone jewelry and intentional pieces, I’ve always felt most myself when I’m creating. What once began as piles of “random rocks” around my home has grown into a thoughtfully curated collection of gemstones and handcrafted offerings that reflect both beauty and meaning.

 

Hazey Moon Essentials is for those who feel connected to creativity, crystals, and a touch of the cosmic — those who appreciate intention behind what they wear and bring into their homes. Each piece is made with care, curiosity, and a little bit of moonlit magic.
